The New Trombone Collective consists of nine trombonists from the same generation, whom studied at the Conservatory of Rotterdam and stayed friends after finishing their study. They have all built up successful careers with renowned orchestras and ensembles, like the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra de Volharding and 'Het Nederlands Blazers Ensemble'.

The Dutch Trombone Quartet was founded by four students of the Rotterdam Conservatory in 1986, for the purpose to explore the chambermusic. The main goal of the Dutch Trombone Quartet is to call attention for the diversity of the trombone,  by playing a varied repertoire, from renaissance to modern twentieth century music.

The trombone players Tom Koster, Martijn van de Kolk, Erik in 't Veld and Paul Prikken all play in several symphonic wind orchestra’s in the province North - Brabant. Besides they have a predilection for chamber music and therefore they found the trombone quartet "Apollo" since 2005.

Nowadays about 45 musicians play along in our symphonic wind band, conducted by Willem van Zee. The orchestra plays at the highest possible level of the national association. The members are partly from Wamel, a town in West Maas en Waal, but also from far beyond that region. In fact we have a regional position in the Netherlands. Exchanges with other superb symphonic wind bands in the Netherlands, combined with the social connection to its hometown Wamel has made this orchestra musically all round, in and outside its region.

Philharmonie Gelre is a symphonic wind orchestra that sees its home base as the area around Arnhem and Nijmegen, in the east of the Netherlands, but nevertheless will perform outside its region. The orchestra plays at the highest possible level of the national association. The members are highly motivated amateurs from all over the province of Gelderland. Philhamonie Gelre regularly performs on the stage of the Nuon auditorium of the concert hall Musis Sacrum in Arnhem. This leaded to the Dutch Championship for banner symphonic bands 2002.
